IraSME call for projects

In order to deepen innovation cooperation with the central innovation programme for SMEs (ZIM) developed in Germany, Innosuisse is participating in the IraSME initiative.

IraSME call for projects

IraSME is a network of funding programmes for research and development projects from different countries and regions that share the same objective: support small and medium-sized enterprises in their innovation efforts.

The coordination of this network is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and overseen by AiF Projekt GmbH in Berlin.

We invite Swiss companies and universities to establish international research and development cooperation with partners from the participating countries (in particular, Germany, Austria and Switzerland). There are no restrictions on the research and development area.

To submit an application:

Submission of the joint IraSME application form and the draft cooperation agreement (unsigned) by email to the following address: info@ira-sme.net

National submission to Innosuisse via the application plateform with the following documents

  • draft cooperation agreement (unsigned);
  • joint IraSME application form;
  • financial sustainability verification documents (for Swiss implementation partners with fewer than 250 FTEs), namely:
    • income statements (2023, 2024),
    • balance sheets (2023, 2024),
    • other financial evidence of contributions received,
    • if the annual accounts are unavailable: financing form to be completed andreturned by secure email.
  • For funding requests above CHF 1 million, please submit additional due diligence documents to Innosuisse (application forms/documents via bilateral-cooperation@innosuisse.ch).
