More mentors, more support

New mentors are joining Innosuisse. 23 people have been accredited by the Innovation Council and will assume their duties on 1 July 2025. The call for applications, launched in 2024, is intended to strengthen the number of active mentors, which has grown from 20 to 41. A total of 507 applications were submitted.

This latest selection round aims to increase the capacity to provide support and better respond to growing demand. Areas such as education, artificial intelligence and sustainable development have all received an extra boost, giving companies and organisations access to improved support - and stimulating innovation across all regions of the country. In addition, the number of women accredited has increased from 10% to 26%.

Innovation mentors play a key role: they analyse the potential of innovation project ideas and help SMEs, start-ups, administrations and other organisations develop their applications.
