Eureka Biotech call for projects

As part of the Eureka initiative, Swiss companies and research institutes are invited to undertake R&D projects focusing Biotech at an international level.

Eureka Biotech call for projects

The countries taking part in this call for projects include Austria, Belgium (Wallonia and Flanders), Canada, Chile, Estonia, France, Germany, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Portugal, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzlerand and Türkiye. Your R&D project must include at least two organisations based in at least two of the countries participating in this cooperative call for projects.

Project applications with a clear innovation content and implementation plan in biotech areas like medicine, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical products and services, life sciences, digitalization, (bio)process technology (non-exhaustive list of cooperation areas) are welcome. To submit an application:

Participants must submit their application via the Eureka Smart Simple platform.

Swiss participants must also submit their application to Innosuisse via its application platform.

Important: submissions to both the Eureka Smart Simple platform and the Innosuisse platform are required by 25 September 2026.

Innosuisse application platform

The platform Innolink is used to submit and manage applications to Innosuisse. Project partners and start-ups can submit new applications or edit existing ones, while Innosuisse members can access the projects and cases assigned to them.

The international partner search is supported by the b2match platform.
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) supports Swiss organisations in identifying suitable project partners.
