New members of the Executive Committee and reorganisation of the Innosuisse Office

Innosuisse is appointing new members to its Executive Committee and aligning its organisational set-up with the strategic challenges ahead: from 1 January and 1 February 2026 respectively, two new members will step into their roles on the Executive Committee. Both of them will play key roles in the ongoing reorganisation of the Office, which will be put in place at the start of 2026 and will make Innosuisse more agile, more focused on its impact and more closely in touch with the innovation ecosystem.

Agnès Petit Markowski will become Head of the new Project & Programme Funding division from 1 January 2026

Agnès Petit Markowski will become Head of the new Project & Programme Funding division from 1 January 2026. A geoscientist with previous roles at Holcim, Creabeton Matériaux and Cemex, she founded the start-up company Mobbot in 2018 and most recently has provided support for a number of climate tech and SaaS start-ups. She brings with her extensive experience in innovation management and a strong network in the Swiss research and start-up community, and she is set to shape the ongoing development of Innosuisse’s project and programme portfolio.

Noemi Rom will take on her role as Head of the new Advisory, Networks and Strategy division from 1 February 2026

Noemi Rom will take on her role as Head of the new Advisory, Networks and Strategy division from 1 February 2026. She is currently Consulting Director and Head of Sustainability Transformation at the Zühlke Group, where she previously also served in roles such as Head of Digital Consulting Asia in Singapore. Prior to that, she was responsible for Innovation at the Zurich Municipal Electric Utility (ewz). Since completing her studies at the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), Noemi Rom has been working on the interface between business and technology, and she brings a decidedly people-centred perspective to innovation and transformation processes. With her technical and economic background as well as her strong roots in the SME ecosystem, she will strengthen the Executive Committee from a technical, strategic and cultural perspective.

Along with their respective teams, Agnès Petit Markowski and Noemi Rom will make a significant contribution to shaping the future of Innosuisse with respect to impact-focused, networked and market-oriented innovation promotion.

Reorganisation of the Innosuisse Office

These new members are being appointed to the Executive Committee as part of the reorganisation of the Innosuisse Office from 1 January 2026. The aim is to flexibly align the organisation with external factors, to bundle funding processes more tightly together and to make better use of synergies. To this end, the structure of the Office will be simplified, responsibilities will be assigned more clearly, and resources will be used in a more targeted manner. In this way, Innosuisse will ensure that the funding portfolio confers maximum benefit in line with the Federal Council’s strategic objectives.

As part of this realignment, the Executive Committee will be slimmed down from six to four members. Innosuisse would like to thank the previous members of the Executive Committee for their hard work and their contribution to the development of the funding agency.
